Dora Holmes bequest

We received a lovely bequest of £650 from Dora Holmes, who died recently. She and her husband were avid plant collectors. We have just reached agreement with Mark (Curator) and Richard (Head Gardener), and with Mary Jane, Dora's daughter, to use this bequest to buy the plants for a new collection of Meconopsis varieties and forms.

We intend to source the plants from Gavin McNaughton at Macplants, who offers one of the widest selections of Meconopsis in the UK, and will be our speaker at our April lecture.
